my tropical catfish layed eggs on the walls of my aquarium and wondering what to do will the other fish eat what should i do

Yes, if given the chance, your other fish will eat the eggs. The egg layer might too. If there was a male in the tank at the time she laid the eggs, I would scoop them out and place them in your quarantine tank and then patiently await the arrival of your new fish.
