Question
QUESTION: I am going to get:
- a dwarf gourami
- a powder blue dwarf gourami
- a honey gourami
- an oto (aka dwarf sucker mouth catfish)
- 2 sunset coral dwarf platies (theyre already in the tank)

is this overcrowding? i think it is and if it is, what should i get rid of? thank you very much! :)

ANSWER: HiYa!

You already answered your own question, YOU think your tank is overcrowded. I on the other hand can't say yes it is or no it isn't until I know what size tank you have, which you forgot to put in your question lol!

QUESTION: From the last question: I was going to put them in a 5 gallon hex tank thats in my room.

Answer
HiYa

Yes that is overstocking your tank unfortunately! In a 5gallon I would lose the Gourami's, there just isn't enough space for them and Gourami's can get very territorial when they so choose. And even then depending on how big the Oto gets, I'd be hesitant about putting that in there as well.

Unfortunately with a 5gallon your very limited as to what fish and how many you can put in it because of the limited swimming space.

Sorry! Hope this helps!
