my first aquarium

i have never had an aquarium, and i am planning to buy one. i've done a lot of reasearch, but i'm not sure what kind of water to use and what i should do to it before i put fish in. could you please help?

Thanks so much for asking questions before you acually bought the tank.  I would put just normal water with a dechlorinator in it.  Then I would follow the instructions on this link before putting fish in.
