Question
QUESTION: i have 2 ocellaris peacock bass, an oscar, and a managuense cichlid.the managuense cichlid picks on the oscar and sometimes on the peacock bass. what can i do to help them recover faster and prevent this from happening?
p.s what is a good scavenger fish?

ANSWER: hi Max:  how big is your tank?  How long have you had your fish?  You can try to get a school of "dither" fish... these are any fish that are small and fast and swim in a school.  They will keep the other fish occupied and sometimes the aggression will stop.  I suspect that you have too many aggressive fish in your tank... let me know what the gallons of your tank are and I will give you some more advice. As for a scavenger fish... a plecostomus or cat would be ok... just make sure its large enough to not become a snack.  Dave

QUESTION: my tank is a 30 gallon planning to upgrade to a 150 or 180 when they get bigger. Ive only had them for about 2 months. Are there any bigger dither fish because im afraid they might eat them because the the fish in my tank are all around 3 inches.

Answer
Hi max... you have too many aggressive fish for that size of a tank.  Two of those fish are enough for 30 gallons... You will either need to get another 30 gallon tank or get rid of some  of your fish... all of the fish you have are territorial and there just isn't enough territory for all of them... dither fish will not help much... dave
