betta plant

Question
Hello, my betta Tazo is in a classic 1 gallon glass bowl.  I got him an artificial
plant that is about 5 inches high.  When its leaves are spread out, it can
probably reach a maximum of about 4.5 inches in width.  Will this take up too
much room in my betta's bowl?  Thanks

Answer
Hi Brian,
The best way to determine this is to observe your betta and see if he is having trouble moving around his bowl and the plant isn't always in his way. Also be careful that the plant doesn't have pointy edges or sharp areas that can damage his delicate fins. Silk or live plants are really much better for bettas.

Best of luck!
