Question
Our fish seem to be dying slowly one by one.  They have an outer bubbly looking substance on their skin.  What is this? How do I get rid of it?

Answer
Heather:  I would do an immediate 50-75% water change.  Use water condition to take out the chlorine.  I would also get the water tested at one of the local fish stores. I suspect that tank is toxic and the bubbles that you are seeing are probably chemical burns.  When you get the water tested (its usually free) let me know the specific  results.  dave
