Answer
Hi Nora,
If you simply want to get rid of them, you can give them to a large chain store, such as Petco or PetSmart. They, however, won't give you any money for them.

If you find a small, locally-owned fish store near you, they will most likely accept the fry, and give you a small payment. Don't expect anything big, probably at most $3 for 10, even less if they are small. Fry often die, and larger fish will get you a better price.

You can give them away to an experienced friend, with an existing aquarium, or instruct a friend with no experience how to take care of them. This way, the fish will go to a good home.

If you can't do any of the above, don't flush them - the most humane method is putting them into a zippie bag, and putting them in a freezer. They will fall into a dormant state, and will pass away peacefully in their sleep. Only do that as a last resort, though.

Have a nice day!
