tadpoles

why did our tadpoles die? We had some tadpoles in pond water in our room. The water got to dirty and we changed the water. The new water was tap water from an under ground source. It did not contain chlorine and we checked the temperature.

I mean to say that if you had done all the said procedures for the tadpoles they will not die.
*** I really didn't understand clearly that you want to say all the tadpoles are died. I thought still some of them are alive, that's why I say "They will be OK", the word "OK" for the remaining alive tadpoles. Please don't misunderstand. I'm really SORRY to misunderstand. I'm again really SORRY to know that all your tadpoles are died. I really never imagine any living pet to die for anyone, because it's really sorrowful.
