Beta fighting fish

I have a 1 gallon fish tank with a beta fish in it. Is there any other fish I can put in with him? (I know I can't put in another beta). Maybe 1 or 2 more fish? It has a filter and pump with aerator but no heater. It has a light which will heat the water a certain amount.

Hi, basically you can add any fish you want with a betta fish they are not at all agessive to any other species of fish besides their own, but you can add 2-3 female betts and in a while you may have some babies.So the answer to your question is that you can add almost any SMALL-MEDIUM SIZED FISH no bigger than the betta.
