Flowerhorn not eating for the last week

Hi,
I have a flowerhorn, and he is about 18mths old, he usually is always hungry, his diet consists of pellets, freeze dried shrimp and spiritulena flakes, up until recently that is, I got some feeder fish from the local pet store for a treat, and he has'nt eaten anything for over a week, at first I just thought he was being fussy, but I think it is something else, he is not the same fish, he is usually very active, and now he just sits on the bottom in the corner, I'm not sure what I can do to help him? should I leave him and hope he gets better (digestivly)? please help,

Hi Troy,
 You shouldn't feed using feeder fish from a pet store. They almost always carry parasites that infect oscars.  I suspect that is what has happened.   There isn't much you can do about it -- hopefully he will pull through.  Don't feed those again.
