do bettas get seizures?

Question
l have had my betta fish Adonis, for almost three years now.
lately he has been acting weird...  (twice this past week) literally spazzing out and then suddenly going still, the first time he did it l though he had died, considering his age... but about a minute later he was back to normal. is he having a seizure or is this something else?

Well bettas do have a short life span about 3 years that when my betta dies after about 3 years. The seizures are a sign of his life is coming to an end thats what i'm thinking. I'm sorry for telling you this bad news :(
