Question
How long does it take baby platy's to get to adult size. I have about 80 of them in a couple of 10 gal tanks till get bigger. Then I will move between the other tanks I have.

Thank You,

Barbara

Answer
Hi Barbara,
Fish growth is a function of many things: how warm the water is (warmer water equals faster growth), how much you feed them, how crowded they are (more crowded, much slower growth) and how often you change the water in the tank.

If you have that many fish in a 10 gallon tank, you need to be changing at least 25% of the water once a week, if not more often.  They could be adults in about 6 months.
