Betta bleeding

Hello. I got my first Betta during this past summer, and I recently got another one about three months ago.  They are in a divided tank.  I was just cleaning their tank and I noticed the Betta I've had for almost a year, is bleeding right next to the right eye. You can clearly see it is blood flowing out of the wound. I am freaking out and don't know what to do. I have them in separate tanks right now just in case the one Betta has a disease or something. Pleaseeeeee help!

Hi Ashlee,
 That is very peculiar.  Perhaps he bashed it on something?   Unfortunately I don't know of anything you can do about it, i.e., it will just have to stop on its own, i.e., you are better not to try to handle him or anything like that because that will only make it worse.
