i think my budgie might be sick

about a moth or 2 ago we bought a budgie, and she seemed healthy (i think shes around 5 months of age) but recently she started devoloping this orange / pink spot around her head and i wasnt sure what it was , i asked my friend who knew alot about them and she said it might be this pearch we bought that was pink and she could of just rubbed her head on it, but lately her sroppings have these sortof yellow ball type things in them , should i take her to the vet?

I'm going to assume that the spot in on her feathers and say your friend is probably right but youcan test this by replacing the perches.

Your budgie however shouldn't have yellow in her droppings they should be green with a bit of white it could just be some undigested seed,you are very observant though to notice it I couldn't tell you what it is without seeing so sorry but you may have to take her to the vet.
