Traveling with Budgies

Question
Hello,
I will be traveling from Chicago to Australia in the next year and I'm afraid my little budgies will be frightened in the cargo bay area. Can I sit with them or visit them in cargo?  I don't have a clue.

I think that would depend on the airline.  Contact them and ask.  Most airlines are fairly lenient when it comes to transporting pets.  If you call around and ask, I'm sure you can find an airline that might consider letting you visit.

Budgies usually handle travel pretty well as long as the cage is covered and they feel safe.
