birds clicking

my budgies tend to click a lot with their beaks before their bed time. why do they do that.

thank you for your question.
That's normal and a sign that they feel comfortable. It's not exactly known why they do it, but many animals have such comfort-behaviours. It's a sign for the others that all is well and safe, too.
