breeding budgie help!!

hi i have 2 budgies that i have breed trying to breed for about 2 months and my female Leah will not going the nest box but she does love to sit on top of it and bite it.i have 2 nest boxes 1 wood that is the one she sits on and 1 plastic.my male Jordan feeds and cleans Leah  and some time bobs his head and taps his beak i tern the light on that i have over the cage at 6:00am and of at 10:30-11:00pm.my 2 birds often visit the cuddle bone and mineral block ,and leas poop is way bigger than jordans.thank you Cole what do u think about all this does is sound like they r going to ever breed and y will Leah not go in the nest box??

Hi cloe!

It sounds like your budgies are going to mate soon. Leah is probably just hesitant, the nesting box is something new to her. After they've mated she will begin entering the nesting box and taking short visits, eventually beginning to spend all her time in the nesting box until she lays an egg.
