hand feeding hachlings, cockatiels

Question
I recieved one hachling and three larger baby cockatiels and I don't know how many ml.'s of formula to give them. The hachling weighs almost 1oz. and the three other chicks weigh 3oz.s. I am afraid to give the smallest one too much. I have looked at books and pictures. But the pictures' crops look so grossly enlarged after they are feed. Is there a certain ml. I can give the 1oz.er without hurting it. I have given it 4-5ml. and it still wants more but I am afraid. Can you please help?

Answer
Hello Diana and thank you for your question, I never messared my baby budgies formula but fed them until there crops were expanded but not overly food and bursting looking, the baby genraly stops eating when its full if not you stop when the crop is disended, fullish but not so so full its extremaly tight looking but filling them up until they are just before the tightly streached stage would be fine. Since you'r feeding them every few hours anyways they wouldnt be hungray for long if you didn't give them much one time as when the crop is *almost completely empty you feed them again , don't let the crop go with nothing in it its hard o the growing babes.
