Hi. I have 2 very old gelding and I just recently purchased a 4 yo, QH mare. It is time for worming, and we have been giving our geldings Ivermectin for years. I was just wondering if I should consult with my vet before giving her the wormer. thanks Erin

It sounds like all your horses need to be rotated to a different drug group. You should rotate your wormer chemicals annually to prevent resistance. Have a chat to your vet about which wormer would be the best for you to rotate to in your area.
