milk for racehorses

hello ma'am, can i provide milk to thoroughbred racehorses? is it good for their diet?

Hi Rohit,

Feeding milk to your horse will be of little benefit and quite frankly I would suggest sticking to the basics of forages and certain grains.  Adult horses lack the enzymes necessary to convert the lactose in the milk into energy, and so the practice is wasted on horses.
