Questionhello, how come too much protein lead to bleeding and respiratory problems in horses? please explain in detail and in simple terms. please dont mind that i am troubling you like this.
AnswerHello Caine,
Thank you for your question. I am not aware of any connection between high dietary protein levels and bleeding or respiratory problems in horses. Respiratory disorders are generally brought about by continued exposure to environmental stresses like dust and mold, and bleeding in horses can originate from any one of many areas of the respiratory system. Any relationship between high dietary protein, bleeding and respiratory problems is purely coincidental.
Thanks, Corlena
