climate playing important role

hello sir, why climate plays an important role in horses? what does it really mean?

Answer
It plays the same role with a horse as it does us. If the altitude is high, the air becomes thinner and the horse will have a hard time getting it's breath just like you would. Heat and cold affect a horse as in you. However, the horse can tolerate the heat and cold better than you can because of the fat and hair that is provided them.
