learning riding at 40

hello sir, presently i am 22 years. can i learn riding at the age of 40? please dont consider this as a home work question as "out of expertise". please answer me. we are financially poor. i cant afford to learn riding and become a perfect rider.

I have a student who started riding 2 years ago at the age of 70 and is doing quite well.

The most important quality in learning to ride is to be dedicated to it....to put in long hours.

That is actually more important then natural talent.
