Questionhello sir, i believe that a horse is said to have an ideal confirmation if its cannon bones are short. am i correct? if yes, may i know why?
AnswerHello,
You can just start with Mitzi instead of "sir", as I am a female.
Horse conformation is a difficult and detailed study.
In general, ( and it depends on the size of the reat of the horse amd the purpose intended for the horse), a shorter cannon bone is considered desirable.
It makes the leg stronger and puts less stress on other parts of the leg. It has to be
proportioned with the rest of the horse's conformation of course.
