hi how do i get my 6 month old baby colt to start to lead?

Hi Thomas;

The usual technique is to use a thick, soft rope and put it around the colt's bum and gently pulling as you give a go forward aid.  A second person can be a big help.

You don't want to pull on the lead because it's really easy to jam the poll or put the neck out of alignment.
