what type of horses

Hello,
I would like to know what you think about ponies. Do you know if they are the best choice for kids who know nothing about horses? I would also like to know if you have an opinion of what type of horse is a good horse for someone who has been riding for about a year and wants to do both english and wester and jumping. And also if you think Morgans are a good horse, their temperment, their ability to do different things and if they would be good for kids and a taller adult who weighs about 120 and is 5'7, do you think that she would be able to ride that small of a horse?

    im sorry if this might be late.Yes i think pony's are good for kids.Well for a person who knows nothink about horses,well the bst kind of horse i think would be a New Forest Pony or a Show Pony.These both breeds are great for doing jumping in English and Western.But like you said Morgans are also good and for a person of 5'7 then that sort of horse i think would be perfect.May i also say that Dutch Warmbloods are also good with temperment,shouw jumping and good for people who arnt very experinced with horses.
