Please answer soon as im desperate to know! thanks for your time. Nicole

Answer
Dear Nicole

I take from your question that you have never been a horse owner.  Please forgive me -- but you do not have the EXPERIENCE/qualifications even AFTER a college training program to be an instructor.  We hired an apprentice from the college ranks one time just to help around the training barn and it was disastrous.  They graduated someone who couldn't even ride.  This from a well known equine college.

You'd be much better off to find a place that will let you apprentice -- you'll starve to death because they're not going to pay you when you're being taught by them.  Depends how serious you really are about a career in the tough tough horse industry.

Sorry to paint a negative future, however you need to see reality.

Good luck
D
