Lots of patience --- slow moves yet do not back off when she slings her head ---- you cannot "pin" her down or she will be more afraid. --- just keep working with her until she lets you scratch the top of her head slowly -- --

This may take days before you even think about a bridle. Also when you DO get the bit in her mouth --- you'd better take your time and let her "spit it out" - so you don't hurt her teeth and cause more fear..
