Answer
Hannah;
first let me congratulate you on your new purchase. Raising a foal is both a challenging and rewarding experience.
You are so far away. UK. I am in Canada, a UK 'Colony', but, far...
As to the baby, at this age I would assume the foal is eating mum's food. At least some. This is a good place to start as it does not add stress to the weaning process. Here in Canada we have available several commercial grain mixes specifically designed for the different needs of different ages.
I feed weanlings a commercial grain mix, made by 'Buckeye' Feed, special for weanlings, along with alfalfa hay. The grain ration is formulated to horses on an alfalfa diet which differs greatly from those on timothy, brome, grass hay mixes.
Many North American producers, horseman claim "oats and alfalfa" nothing else needed.
A young foal needs high quality hay, some grain to increase protein % of diet, plenty of free exercise, usually a mineral supplement, good clean water, and, Most important to any equine, regardless of age is quality of feed. One bale of bad hay can end a horses useful life.
I would contact first your local agriculture offices for any available information, also local Equine producers/breeders, (successful) talk to them and either observe or ask about their weanling feeding programs. Most are willing to talk 'horse' and the feeding of young horses depends so much on your local conditions and geology. Here on the shore of Lake Superior, the ground is very low in iodine, hay and grain also, so we supplement it. Talk to (successful !!! ) locals for your most accurate info.
I wish you good luck with your "baby". Please, keep me posted as to how this experience evolves.

Take care, eh.

Hannah, we have hayledge here (if it is the same) and it is HIGH protein, the rest of your diet 'sounds' high protein, and although foals need extra protein for max. development, it can cause a lot of trouble if they get too much ! Many do here. Best feeding tool I've ever used was daily observation / evaluation.
Luck !
