showmanship question?

hey. i was wondering: in normal 4H, can you use a colt in showmanship? and also - do your boots and top have to match???????

I cant answer your question about the colt because I simply do not know. The best way to find out is to call your local 4-h office. As for the matching boots and top, no they do not have to match. Most boots come in black, brown, or tan and those happen to be popular color choices for showmanship tops. A lot of people also wear reds, blues, greens, and lots of other different colors.
