My 3 year old horse skinned its leg about 5in top to bottom around the cannon bone back to the back tendon,will the skin grow back ok?

Hi Ethan.
Sounds like a nasty scrape! The skin SHOULD grow back OK. In the meantime, you want to have the vet come out and give the horse a tetanus shot. You also want to keep his stall as clean as possible and watch the horse and the leg carefully for any signs of infection. You might also want to use some Wonderdust to help prevent Proud Flash from forming, especially if you might show the horse in the future.
