gelding with a testicle

i have a 5 year old gelding with a scrotum. He tends to have mares come into heat around him. He drops his penis and shows some signs of a stallion. Is it possible that he still has a testicle, could he still breed? Thank you   cheryl

Dear Cheryl,
           I do think that you should get him checked, sometimes stallions are born with there testicles in there bodies. The only way to know for sure is to have someone perform a ultrasound, or see if a vet or you can feel if his testicles are inside.
