splint boots

Hello ,
I was wondering what size splint boots i would need for my horse. He is a thick boned thoroubred. He is 9yrs old and 17hh. We are going to do jumping with him and he can already jump 5ft high. I hope you can help.

Probably a large would fit him best being a Thoroughbred.  If you can, try to purchase the splint boots at a local tack store.  Ask them about their return policy.  Most local tack stores will let you exchange unused splint boots if you buy an improper fit.
