Question
we are having problems with our well.  we added clorox to it and i was wondering if it would hurt the horses to drink it?

Answer
Im not an expert on toxicity in water, but the clorox you add to water is bactericial (kills bacteria), so it can kill bacteria (even the normal good bacteria) in the intestinal tract the same way. When and if it does that depends on the concentration and it can do the same to the normal important bacteria in the human intestinal tract. Id refer you to an expert in water treatment to find out what levels could be toxic to both you and your horses. I dont recommend adding clorox without someone knowledgable guiding you - for both the health of your horses and for your own health. please get qualified and credentialed guidance on this, this chemical is potentially toxic to both you and your horses. good luck.
