hello madam, may i know what is tendonitis??? when does it occur, at what age???

Tendinitis is often the result of physical weight bearing strain overload by the soft tissue support of the distal limb. In other words the digital flexor tendons and the suspensory ligament can be pushed beyond the elastic capabilities of the tissues and individual and multiple fibre tearing can result. it can happen to any horse at any age.
