Age, sex, and type of baby turtle????

I found a baby turtle this past weekend and i brought it home to take care of it. I don't know what kind it is, the age, or its sex, how can i tell? Also i have been trying to research its care but need to know what kind to do this. Any help would be awesome!

First of all, wild-caught turtles, especially babies, make poor pets- they just do not adjust to the stress of captivity very well.

Next, to ID it, try either this link: http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/world_of_turtles/ OR google your state and the word 'turtles'. Most states run a site with good info about their local animals.

Sex and age are tough to tell with babies, even for experts. If it is a wild baby, it probably just hatched within the last month.
