turtle basking area

Question
Can you suggest a good basking area.  I have a 6'' RES who hates to climb, so I need an easy access basking spot.  He is very particular.  I can't build it up with gravel either because he eats it.  As of right now I have big slightly sloped rock that he can't seem to figure out and I did have a dock for him but he couldn't climb onto it.  Please help!!

Here's some basking platform ideas for you.  I don't keep aquatics so I can't tell you from experience what works best, but maybe one of these will work for your turtle.  You could also try going to the forums at turtletimes.com and searching for threads on basking platforms there.
