Baby yellow bellied slider (terrapin)

Hi, can a baby slider ( about 1-2 inches ) hunt and catch a common goldfish?

If the fish is small enough, yes.

Turtles and fish make poor cagemates- they tend to annoy, nibble on, harass, etc. each other, and goldfish want cool water, while turtles want warm water and basking sites.
