my new pet wood turtle...

Hi,
My family just got a ne wood turtle and we want the best for him...but we are not that sure on how to go about on making the best Habitat for him...can you please share as much information as you know on making this happen in a good healthy why...like what is the best thing for a young turtle to eat? what is the best temp. for him? or anything else we should now about this great new pet....Thanks for your time and information it is very much  Appreciated!!

This is an interesting species to keep, and you will find some conflicting info on it. I have never kept one (ther than short-term), so i have no hands-on advice to share.
