My daughter recently purchased a baby miss map turtle she had all the correct set up for him she had only had him 6 days and the poor little thing died he had not eaten at all in that week and when she woke one morning she found him in amongst some aquatic plants sadly dead she is devastated and blames herself can you tell us where she went wrong

A death within less than a week almost always means a pre-existing illness that the stress of being moved to a new location made worse.

Baby turtles are tough. That is one of the reasons it is against federal regulations to sell turtles under 4" long.
