Question
QUESTION: Ok, my turtle is really small and its shell is peeling. I thought maybe it was to dry or is growing. do you know why?

ANSWER: Peeling is never a good sign, but without knowing the species, size, housing, etc. there is not much I can do other than point you to a couple good sites.

QUESTION: Ok, well it lives inside an aqaurium, and usually sits on a rock... does that help??

Answer
To offer any valid help, I need:
- Species, or a good photo of the head, shell, and belly, or a complete description of colors and markings on the neck, back and belly.
- Size- the shell length front to back
- Aquarium size, and about how much water in it
- Water temps and how kept at that temp
- Diet- what kind of food, how much, how often

I am not trying to be difficult, but there are about 300 kinds of turtles, and advice I give you for some of the species can hurt other species.

You can also try the other sites I suggested.
