red ear slider feeding

I have 2 two and a half inch baby slider turtles...i read i was to feed them 2 to 3 times per day..one of them looks like its gonna split its shell...gained much more weight than the other...it kinda looks swollen?

One thing I have learned from doing this for the last few years is that most of the advice about baby turtle care is really, terribly wrong... but since it is illegal in the US to sell baby turtles, I am not surprised that the stores don't know what they are doing.

Also- when you have 2 Sliders, one will almost always dominate the other and outgrow it unless they have LOTS of room (like a mostly filled 40 gallon tank or more).
