Ornate Box Turtle Broken Nail

Hi! I have a female Ornate Box Turtle who somehow managed to break a couple of her nails digging in the yard. I was wondering if these would grow back or not?

Hi Nikki,

If the nails are broken off completely, they may not grow back.  If they're just partly broken off, they'll eventually grow back.  Either way, it isn't uncommon and shouldn't cause her problems.  If there's any injury to the foot itself, keep an eye on it to make sure it heals well, but otherwise don't worry.
