Peeling skin in my painted turtle

I just got my Painted turtle a few weeks ago and me and my family have notice the skin peeling around her neck and on her right front leg and I want to know if that is normal

No, that is not normal. Their shell on the other hand will peel a little. You need to get a sulfa block and put it in his water. Also make sure their is a dry spot for the turtle to climb on to. Do you have a full spectrum light bulb in the tank as well?
