bearded dragon wont poo

hi I've had my dragon for about 3-4 months now and he is about 9 months old. recently i noticed that he hasn't had a poo in a long time roughly 4-5 weeks. i followed some advise online and put him in a tub of warm water for 20 minutes and gently stroked his belly. he did a wee but no luck with the poo. then this morning i fed him bits of apple because i heard that it acts like a laxative to beardies but still no luck. i am currently still studying so i am very short of cash so i would prefer not to take him to the vets. any advice?

What type of substrate is he on, sand, paper towels, tile?  
What type of foods are you feeding him, are the crickets or roaches smaller than the space between the eyes?
Are you using a UVB light & if so, what type & brand do you use?  
How often does he receive calcium supplementation?
He could be partially impacted from substrate or dehydration possibly.  
You can try some sugar free applesauce, canned pumpkin & a drop or two of olive or mineral oil, once daily along with a warm bath.  Massage his belly on the right side, starting at the arm pit down to the vent.
What are his basking temperatures right now & do you use a digital probe or temp gun to measure the temperatures?
