Joint swelling

Good evening,
We have a bearded dragon who is approximately one year old. Over the past few weeks I have noticed some swelling to left elbow area and claw, now his back left leg, at the joint, is swollen also. Can you tell me what can be causing this?

I'm sorry I didn't see your question until now. Without being able to see the dragon I can only guess. Often, before a shed, the joints and feet will look swollen. If he is otherwise acting normally and there are no sores, injuries, etc.. it's probably just that he's getting ready to shed.
