I dont know how old he is but he is 11 inches. When I held him at the pet store he was calm but ever since I brought him home hes been a nipper. I bought him at Pawriffic pets, and I feed him crickets and bags of spring mix salad.I pick him up by his middle section of body. The ppl at the pet store said I have to hold him to make him calm but when i hold him he always trys to escape.

 Never pick up a dragon from above, that is what predators do, always scoop from below, under his tummy.  Eleven inches is a juvenile and when they hit puberty, they get ornery sometimes.  If you pick him up, hold him till he calms, and that could take a while since he's also hormonal.
