Question
i curremtly own 3 beautiful beardies. they're around 6 months old and ive recently been introduced to the desert horned lizard.. aka horny toad, my question is can you co-habitate beardies with the horned lizard. i know their diets are similar and environments are similar also, what i need to know is once of adult age can i put them in tanks togeather?

Answer
The truth is that their habitats in the wild are very disimilar.  The horny toad is a true desert reptile.  The bearded dragon is from what Australians refer to desert, which is more like savannah/woodland.
Reptiles are territorial.  They do not need company and will not share their habitat unless they have plenty of room. I have one reptile per tank.  Your beardies are 6 months old which is the start of puberty.  I would strongly reccomend separating them as soon as possible.  They could start fighting at any time.  Or they could stop letting one eat.  Intimidation can be subtle so watch fo one not growing as fast as the others and that's the victim.  And at no time ever mix species.
