Question
Hi i am alex,
i am sending this question again because i think i entered my email adress wrong. I have had my two leopard geckos (gordi and leo) for almost a week now and i have not seen them eat. I have been feeding them small seilent crickets coated in nutrients. I feed them once a day. Do they eat in private? How many crickets a day dp they need each? What are the signs of a baby leopard gecko not eating

thanks;)

Answer
Hello Alex,

They will eat in front of you but when they are still getting used to a new home they may be more private with their eating at first because they are shy.  As babies, they can probably eat 10-15 small crickets daily or a mix of crickets & worms.  They are growing so they need a good amount of food to grow.
Signs of them not eating will be obvious loss of size or volume in the tail due to loss of fat reserves & no poop in the tank! :-)) If they are not eating they wont be pooping.
