Question
I've had my leopard gecko for about 9 months now and for the past 3 weeks he hasn't eaten and wont open his eyes alot hes still active and friendly and loves getting out of his cage but when he is out he wanderers around with his eyes shut do you no why he might now been eating and what could be wrong with his eyes and do you think i should take it to see a vet ??

Answer
Of course you should take him to see a vet. This is a no brainer. There could be substrate or a toxic substance that has caused an injury to his eyes, or it could be an eye or respiratory infection. Either way...if he can't see, he can't and won't eat...AND THIS WILL ONLY RESULT IN DEATH.

These things do not get better if you do not have him treated properly. He will die if you don't. In my 20 years of reptile experience, I PROMISE YOU THAT!

My wife has had her pair of Leopard Geckos for 10 YEARS, because she takes care of them.
